The
Gathering Summer 2008
In June 2006 I published the very first issue of The Gathering. Two years have flown by and now, with this issue, it is time for I'm updating the format. From this point on The Gathering will be published quarterly with more terrific content. You will still be kept informed via email about new events and happenings; my travel schedule, and updated Tao and defiant information. For this summer issue, I want to share a fun personal story with you all. We live next door to a farm; home to the farmer, farm hand, five cows and a great assortment of smaller animals. Two days ago my husband, Joe, looked out our front window and excitedly exclaimed, "There's a cow on our grass." Well, of course, there was, for we have five small stuffed cow-statues that adorn our property. But that is not what Joe was referring to. There really was a cow on our grass and, while we watched, two others joined her. It seems that there was a break in the pasture fence and these, our bovine neighbors, decided to come visit us and our fake cows. I was able to snap some fun photos before the farm hand managed to herd them back to their home. And I would love to share some of these photos with you now for I think you might get a kick out of seeing them. Talk about Tao and defiant! These cows were going to be where they wanted to be and when they wanted to come visiting, well, by golly, that's just what they did!
I wish you a wonderful summer - filled with many fun surprises! CJ
