THE TAO-GIRL QUESTIONNAIRE

It's so great to know you are part of the community of Tao-Girls. I hope that you're spreading the word by telling your friends about this website, and sharing with them the philosophy of Tao and dynamic so they can also be strong, self confident and bold.

Another way you can help girls your age learn all about Tao-Girls is by being part of the book I'm writing for you.

There is so much going on in your world today that is different than mine was when I was your age.  If you look at the questions below and give me your HONEST answers, then I will have a better picture of the life of a Tao-Girl today.

And I can write a book that is really meaningful - and, hopefully fun - written especially for YOU.

You might even find yourself in the book!

Thanks, Tao-Girls.  I know your answers will be terrific and a great help!

Please make sure you have your parents' permission to give me any of this information before filling in the questionnaire!

TODAY'S DATE:

YOUR NAME:

YOUR AGE:
YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS:
YOUR GRADE IN SCHOOL:
THE NAME OF THE SCHOOL YOU ATTEND:
THE CITY AND STATE YOU LIVE IN:
THE BOOK:
I'm thinking about using the title "Tao and dynamic"
Can you think of another title that would sound exciting and interesting? What would that be?
If you saw this book in the store, would you buy it? For yourself?
For a friend?
For your sister?
If an adult in your life came home with this book for you, would you be: Pleased?
Annoyed?
What sort of book should this be to make it one that you would want to buy and read and use?

This is very important because I really need to know it's a book that will be interesting.  I do not want to write a book that just sits on the bookstore shelf!

A novel (a story) for you to read?
A journal or scrapbook with exercises, games and places for you to work and write in?
A diary of a Tao-Girl?
YOU:
Is there anything that’s been bugging you lately?  Please tell me.
Is there a transition and challenge you are dealing with at this time?  Can you share it with me?
How can the adults in your life help?
How can your friends help?
How can the Tao and dynamic attitude help you?
Who are your role models?
What is it about them that you admire?
Do you compare yourself to them?
If so, do you come out on the short end – like
“I want to be just like her but I’m not, so I feel bad about myself.”
Yes
No
Or do you realize that you are your own person and don't need to compare yourself to her? Yes
No
Is there anyone special that you would like to see highlighted in my book? A family member?
A famous personality?
A not-famous person you admire?

Why?

What do you think of being called a Tao-Girl?
If you are wearing a Tao-Girl shirt or button   and someone asks you what it means will you be ready to explain about Tao and dynamic? Yes
No
Would it be fun and helpful to have a group of friends who call themselves Tao-Girls and who follow the Tao and dynamic philosophy? Yes
No

Why?

If you were sharing the Tao and dynamic philosophy with your friends, what would you tell them about it?
What other questions do you think I should ask Tao-Girls so I can more fully understand their lives and how the book might be helpful for them?  Please think about this for a few minutes so you can give me your best answer.
